ACOT Co., Ltd., an advanced energy and environmental materials company, was founded in September 2022 by Professor Junhyoung Shim from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Korea University. The company was recently selected for the Startup Leap Package Program by Seowon University, recognizing its technological excellence and strong growth potential.

Building on its proprietary Powder ALD (Atomic Layer Deposition) technology, ACOT develops next-generation energy materials such as battery electrode materials, hydrogen catalysts, and separation membranes. This technology enables significant reduction in the use of precious metals while maintaining high performance and durability, making it a key solution for improving the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the eco-friendly energy industry.

Currently, ACOT has completed a Pre-Series A investment round and is now working to secure additional funding and establish a mass-production system to expand its global operations.
