ACOT Co., Ltd., supported by the Korea University Crimson Startup Support Foundation, is developing oxide coating technology for battery electrode materials to enhance durability and safety. This innovation aims to extend battery lifespan and improve performance, with a clear goal of expanding into the global market.

In 2024, ACOT launched its ‘Powder ALD 10’ system, capable of producing 10 tons annually. The company plans to scale up to 1,000 tons per year and is currently collaborating with U.S. universities and battery companies. Establishment of a U.S. subsidiary is also underway.

With support from Korea University Holdings and the Crimson Startup Support Foundation, ACOT secured Pre-A funding and is now preparing for a Series A round in the second half of 2025.
